Auction Schools

By creating a safe, convenient, structured and welcoming environment, the Professional Ringmen’s Institute helps foster the confidence, growth and professionalism of each of our students.  Each day is enriched with hands-on training experiences and activities that provide our students with the skills every professional ringman will need to know to perform effectively for any type of live auction with any auctioneer.  We teach our students the correct way to perform and communicate, which is universally accepted and expected by professional auctioneers and professional ringmen on a global scale. 

A high school or college degree is not necessary to enroll at World Wide College of Auctioneering. For your convenience, we offer auctioneer classes and training courses! No person will be excluded from participation, denied any other benefits or subjected to any form of discrimination because of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin or handicap. The training objective is to prepare our students to manage and sell auctions in Automobiles, Real Estate, Livestock, Farm Machinery, Antiques and other goods and services sold at auction.

Students learn all aspects of the auction industry and acquire the necessary tools to start their career.

These courses provide students the opportunity to fine tune their bid calling based on their level of experience. Students train and learn from many of the top professional bid callers in the industry to take their chant to the next level.

Through the Continental Auctioneers School intense, one-week course, you will learn from instructors who earn their living in the auction industry. You will gain the skills, tools and processes to become a successful auctioneer. Skills Auction school students learn the art of bid-calling. Students spend a significant amount of the course sharpening their bid-calling skills through tongue twisters and number drills. Students then go through the step-by-step process of building the auction chant. Instructors create real-world simulations to help students prepare for performing in an actual auction environment. In addition to bid-calling, students learn other important skills required to become an auctioneer. Instructors help students develop skills in sales prospecting, Marketing, Auction Setup and Design, Business Planning and much more… Tools and Processes Auction School students will learn about the tools required to begin a career in the auction profession. Continental instructors provide tools such as contract and proposal templates, budget templates, Website tools and more. Students learn about other tools required to reach their individual business goals and where to find those tools. We teach processes. One Day Course (8 instructional hours) Not only can appraising be a stand-alone business to increase your income, but it can also be a building block to a successful career as an auctioneer. The PPA stand alone course is great for auctioneers already in the business looking to add personal property appraisals to their list of services offered. For those learning the auctioneering trade, the appraisal course offers great information on valuing items to become a successful auctioneer. This course is offered in a hybrid format with both live and online instruction and is geared towards individuals new to the auction industry. The curriculum is designed to meet most state licensing requirements. Visit our resource tab to view specific state licensing information.
