The Lodge At Mauston 104 Lodge Lane, Mauston, WI, United StatesNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Meeting of Members of Wisconsin Auctioneers Association will be held on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024, at The Lodge at Mauston, 104 Lodge Lane, Mauston, WI 53948, for the purpose of electing members of the Board of Directors and transacting such other business as may properly come before the Meeting. The annual meeting for the purpose of electing directors and the transaction of such other business as may come before the meeting shall be held during the annual convention each year at such time and place as the Board may determine. Each auctioneer member who has paid dues and is otherwise in good standing shall have one vote upon each matter submitted to a vote at any meeting of the corporation, annual or special. Each auction company member shall have one vote at any meeting of the Corporation, annual or special, by a designated representative who shall not be one and the same as a voting auctioneer member, i.e. the vote of an auction company cannot be cast by a voting auctioneer member from his/her auction company. WAA Summer Event
Wildcat Mountain Ontario, WILodging Options: There is a motel in Ontario – the Driftwood INN Local campgrounds – Downtown Ontario Horse Camping – Wildcat Mountain Campground. SCHEDULE Wednesday Evening 5:00 - ? – Meet & Greet for early arrivals at Rivers End Bar for dinner/social hour Thursday 8:00-9:00 – Breakfast at Rivers End 9:30-10:30 – Welcome Speech/Speaker 10:30-11:00 – Wrap up speech/Round Table type discussions amongst members 11:00 – 4:30 – Events (Horseback Riding, Canoeing, Countryside tours, etc) - Members have the choice of what they would like to do. ** Note - If you choose to go horseback riding, you need to bring your own horses. 5:00 - ? – Rivers End for Dinner/Social hour. Followed by a campfire at the VRBO house and a possible musician. Friday 8:30-9:30 – Breakfast at Rivers End 10:00 - Tour of the produce auction in Cashton with Jacob Hills 11:00 – Produce auction starts with members having the chance to engage in selling, ringing, etc.

WAA Day on the Hill
Wisconsin State Capitol 2 E Main St, Madison, WI, United StatesJoin us to advocate on behalf of WAA and its issues in the State Capitol. Meet with your local lawmakers and educate them on WAA issues. Be part of the “Selling in the Round” Auction in the Capitol Rotunda. This day is to promote relationship building with your Local Elected Officials. Some of our Association members already have strong relationships with the Local Elected Officials, however some also need to enhance or initiate the relationship. We encourage each of you to schedule an appointment with your Senators and Representatives, (or staff). Afterwards, we will meet in the rotunda and do a brief program about the Auction Industry and some chanting. This visit is about building relationships between state officials and the auction professional. We look forward to seeing you in Madison. We NEED participation from all members… …and Wisconsin licensees who have an interest in becoming a member.
