Wine and Alcohol Taxation Hearing

If you conduct Wine auctions, then you may want to participate in this hearing.

The Division of Alcohol Beverages and Department of Revenue are holding a virtual public hearing on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 1:00 pm. The purpose of the hearing is to receive testimony from the public, industry, and other interested parties on EmR 2419, relating to the regulation and taxation of alcohol beverages. The testimony provided at the hearing will inform permanent rulemaking on this subject.

Persons must register to attend the virtual hearing.

Interested persons are invited to testify at the hearing. Provide written testimony reflecting the oral presentation prior to or at the time of the hearing by sending the testimony to DORAdminRules@wisconsin.gov.

If you are not attending, you may submit written testimony about the emergency rule by emailing them to DORAdminRules@wisconsin.gov or submitting online no later than January 24 at 11:59PM.
