RAYMOND – Roy D. Holler, 67, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 16, 2001. Roy was born in the Town of Lake, Milwaukee County, on July 16, 1933, son of Robert and Mary (nee: Wettengel) Holler. He had been a resident of the Town of Raymond for the past 43 years. On October 12, 1957, in the Town of Greenfield, he was united in marriage to Lorraine M. Lach. Roy retired from J.I. Case in October of 1991 after 30 years of service.

He was a well-known local Auctioneer. For the past 50 years, he had owned and operated Holler Auction Services. Roy was a Director, a Vice-President, and President of the Wisconsin Auctioneers Association and was inducted into the Auctioneers Hall of Fame in 1990. He served as Director and President of the Racine County Fair Board. He was a past 4-H Leader and President of the 4-H Leaders Association. He auctioned at the Racine County Fair for the 4-H and F.F.A. Director of the Early Days Tractor and Gas Engine Club of Oak Creek. He served on the Board of Directors of the South East Antique Power and Collectible Society of Union Grove. He served on the Board of Directors of the International J.I. Case Heritage Foundation. He was on the staff of the Wisconsin State Fair Governors Blue Ribbon Livestock Auction for the past 15 years.

Roy is survived by his wife, Lorraine M. Holler of the Town of Raymond; daughter, Janet (Jeff Premetz) Holler of Oak Creek; son, Ryan Holler of Union Grove; granddaughter, Carrie Holler of Union Grove; grandson, Josh Holler of Franklin; and brother, Robert (Ellen) Holler of the Town of Raymond. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, Jacob Holler.

Funeral services will be held at Polnasek-Daniels Funeral Home on Friday, January 19, 2001, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dean Natterstad officiating. Interment will follow in McPherson Cemetery in the Town of Raymond. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. and at the funeral home on Friday from 10 until 11 a.m. Memorial suggestions to Covenant Home Health and Hospice appreciated.
