We are happy to announce that the annual 2023 convention is taking place on Friday March 10th in Belleville Ontario at the Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Belleville, 407 North Front Street just off Highway 401. Guests can book in on Thursday March 9th and presenters will begin at 9:30am Friday March 10th. We are excited to announce one of our guest speakers Barry Gordon Founding Director of the AAO in 1984, founder of Gordons Estate Services and CO founder of MAXSOLD. Barry will be discussing “How we got here” explaining their story of starting out as a simple cattle auctioneer to real estate, to Estate settlement, to MAXSOLD and the evolution of the company. With our members having a larger online presence than ever before we believe that the information Barry can provide and the experiences he can share with our members will be extremely educational and beneficial.

We are also happy to announce Frances Fripp as a guest speaker for our 2023 convention. Frances will be discussing the industry of Charity Auctions. Frances is a Provincial Champion Auctioneer and Ontario Auctioneer’s Association Past President. She is the National Auctioneer Association’s Ambassador for Canada and one of the top Benefit Auctioneer Specialists in the country. Frances has worked with foundations and organizations across Canada raising millions of dollars in funds. The information she can provide to our members with regards to charity auctions will be a big benefit to our members.

Room rates are approximately $160+tax per night for two queen beds or a king with a sofa and include a complimentary hot breakfast, free parking, free wifi, large heated indoor pool as well as access to the business center. The competition and banquet will take place Saturday March 11th with the competition beginning at 10am and the banquet beginning at 5:45pm. Banquet fees will be $75 per person or $130 per couple.
