Edgar Salzler-Auctioneer

3077-52
The Wisconsin Picker

I have been collecting and dealing in antiques and other assorted items for the past 37 years. My passion for this business started when I began buying and in some cases re-selling items from flea markets. During this time of discovery I became a CAGA-certified appraiser, a graduate of the Ohio school of auctioneering, and here in Wisconsin have been a licensed auctioneer since 2021.
My background includes a 20 year career with the United States Army, where I served since 2003 rising to the rank of Sgt. First Class. In the service I saw tours in Korea and the Iraqi combat zones. During my time in the military I was stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, Fort Bragg NC, Fort McPherson Ga and in St. Joseph Mo, Charleston WV and, finally, Neenah Wi. It was my posting to Neenah that brought me, my auction business and my family to Wisconsin.

I specialize in appraisals, estate auctions and estate clean outs. I have extensive experience with online auctions and with live auctions. Over the years I have developed friendships with many satisfied customers. Those customers can provide you with multiple references on request.
