Auction Technology Group Acquires Vintage Software

Choate represented Auction Technology Group plc (LON:ATG), operator of world-leading marketplaces for curated online auctions, in its acquisition of Vintage Software (dba EstateSales.net), a U.S. estate sales listing site. ATG will use the acquisition to, among other things, expand into the U.S. estate sales market by enabling more sellers of unique and specialized secondary items to cross-list across multiple marketplaces and gain access to a larger pool of bidders and buyers. The U.S. estate sales market had an estimated gross merchandise value of $5B in 2022.
